ON-DEMAND WEBINAR
The Evolution of Ransomware-as-a-Service
Coffee with CISOs Episode 13
Join us and our guest speaker Mark Turnage, CEO at DarkOwl, as we dive into the world of Ransomware-as-a-Service operations on the darknet.
Bring your favorite drink (doesn’t have to be coffee) and take a quick break to learn more about:
● The latest RaaS operations on the darknet
● New, emerging groups that organizations should be aware of
● What can be done to decrease the prevalence of RaaS
“
Tools to conduct ransomware attacks are widely available on the darknet… It is very easy for someone to go into the darknet, pull down a set of tools at a very low cost, and be in the ransomware business.
About the Webinar
With the sharp increase in ransomware attacks stemming from Ransomware-as-a-Service operations, it’s now easier than ever for threat actors to target and extort organizations via RaaS operators on the darknet. Mark and his team at DarkOwl have created a platform that provides access to the world’s largest index of DARKINT™ (darknet, deep web and high-risk surface web) content, which includes RaaS activity. Mark and the rThreat team will be discussing the evolution of ransomware-as-a-service and what the ransomware marketplace currently looks like on the darknet, what they’ve observed regarding the release of victim data, and emerging RaaS trends on the darknet that organizations should be aware of.
