rThreat Snags Mr. Wonderful’s Stamp of Approval

Hugo Sanchez, the Zero Trust validation SaaS platform’s CEO, took first place at StartEngine’s quarterly pitch competition

BELLINGHAM, WA. –– OCTOBER 19, 2021 – rThreat, the first Zero Trust breach and attack emulation platform that challenges cyber defenses using real world and custom threats in a secure environment, wowed Kevin O’Leary, Shark Tank’s Mr. Wonderful, and took first place in StartEngine’s quarterly pitch competition.

“I got to give it to Hugo at rThreat because… he is going to be VERY successful,” said Mr. Wonderful. “It makes so much sense what he’s doing!”

The pitch competition is hosted quarterly by equity crowdfunding platform StartEngine. rThreat beat out thousands of other companies in the application round, and was one of five selected to pitch Kevin O’Leary in person, in front of StartEngine’s community of founders, investors, and fans, for the chance to win $25,000 and a one-on-one business consultation with Activision & StartEngine Founder/CEO Howard Marks.

“We are so thankful for this honor and the opportunity to learn from an industry titan like Mr. O’Leary,” said Hugo Sanchez, CEO of rThreat. “rThreat began as a way to fill the gap in pragmatic solutions for cybersecurity validation, and we’re excited to use this momentum to take the next major leap in helping enterprises around the world protect against rapidly evolving cyber threats.”
