rThreat Joins Cloud Security Alliance

rThreat’s Breach & Attack Emulation Solution Will Add Valuable Zero-Day Research to the CSA Community

Seattle, March 22 rThreat today announced that it has joined the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), the world’s leading organization dedicated to defining standards, certifications, and best practices to help ensure a secure cloud computing environment.

rThreat was born in response to the need to pragmatically evaluate an organization’s security posture against potential attacks and security breaches with zero-day artifacts. As a result, rThreat has developed a scalable platform with the latest technologies capable of providing an authentic testing environment that can be used in real-time to evaluate the security posture of its clients. rThreat’s technology and research will be of great value to the CSA community by helping them leverage the threat intelligence rThreat gathers while developing its artifacts.

“Our team is thrilled to be joining the many innovative companies who make up the Cloud Security Alliance. We strive to contribute valuable information on how organizations can utilize technology such as breach and attack emulation to defend against the latest threats. We all share one common goal, and that is to make the world a safer place. We hope to make a positive impact through our work with the CSA,” said rThreat CEO and Co-Founder Hugo Sanchez.

“rThreat’s breach and attack emulation technology is an innovative addition to the Cloud Security Alliance’s membership. Their zero-day research and next-generation technology will be a great resource to the community, and we look forward to their many contributions,” said Jim Reavis, co-founder, and CEO, Cloud Security Alliance.
